Something blue Day 18

This is one of the past Diva challenges that I never did. It was the 12th and it was called something blue.
I needed a simple one sitting, no thinking, pen on paper project for today.
This was perfect for that. I did it while drinking my cup of tea and listening to the rain on the windows.

Today's art prompt for you is to do something basic, something that doesn't take a lot of prep time, clean up time or to force yourself in any particular direction. Make it a "take it easy" kind of day.

18 days in a row so far! 12 more to go!

I'm thinking about next month and the weekly challenge I may start. There are several paths I can take with this, and I'm trying to decide which one, so I'm going to ask for your opinions.
It will obviously have more structure but would you rather I post a theme/idea weekly, or a string or template?

Also would you rather I posted the challenge during the week or on the weekend?

  1. I vote for a theme, given on weekends.
I don't know about everyone else, but it's easier for me to catch up a little on the weekends. :)

I like the swirls in this design, I am envisioning it done on paper with a color gradient, like shades of blue or green. It seems sort of... aquatic.

    Have a great day!!

  2. Honestly no matter which way you go with your challenge, I will take part. I love those things! I am involved in string challenges, challenges that use templates, etc. It might be fun to have a theme for a difference. I also like the idea of weekends, but getting it on Friday so I would have the weekend to play with it would be nice. Nowadays it is not so big a deal, but when school starts back up, weekends are my most relaxed time. Love your tile. This has been so much fun!

  3. Just a simple tile today. Tried String Thing #45. Not sure I love it but thems the breaks.

I think I'd like to do themes for your challenge. I stink at using your prompts for this challenge but I thinks that's because I'm working a day ahead and then I forget and just start something new. But if the challenge was the promt I'd be more likely to give it a go.

  4. Very nice tile! I find it so difficult to make pretty swirls. Yours are beautiful!

  5. I am so totally up for a challenge. These keep me pushing.

Tomarrow I will take it easy, hahahaha, ok, I will try to take it easy. I did buy a tiny sketchbook. So hopefully where ever I end up I can doodle some.
