So today, for MY creative project, I dove in the The Diva's weekly challenge, which is #170! WOW (I'm so behind! LOL)
The challenge is a UMT and to use Bugles. I'm going to be honest, I hated it while I was making it, then all of a sudden it came together. I still don't love it, but here it is. I love how her challenges push me outside my comfort zone. It really makes me grow and learn new things.
I also made tart cherry Zoku popsicles and last night I made homemade granola. YUM.
So what did you create today?
Ah, I wonder if I'll always be first on your linky thingy; my day's finishing as your's is starting.
ReplyDeleteYour UMT is great, but the colour of that ice-lolly is untterly FAB - I hope that it tasted nice too!
BTW, I've made a button to link to your challenge - have a look - I'm sure that you can make a better one.
Sal, I love what you did there with the steampunk heart. I didn't see the button... can you link me directly? I'd love to see it!
DeleteThe popsicle was delicious, it was a sour cherry pop. :D I had to make another batch!
It's on the right hand side here http://allonestring.co.uk/wp/.
DeleteI'm having fun so far. :)
ReplyDeleteit's fun playing with a pattern you wouldn't normally choose, isn't it? I sure enjoy yours. Reminds me of a regiment of bees, flying out to get em some nectar! ha!
ReplyDeleteoops, my url...
DeleteBeautiful work for the challenge. I love this focus on creativity of any sort. It is going to be fun to share some of things I do other that tangle - although that is what I mostly do. Let me know if my creative process today "counts". If not I will try to do something else.
ReplyDeleteMy "counting" things is going to be pretty liberal. :)
DeleteI'm not sure Bugles was my favorite tangle, but it's always nice to learn new ones that you might otherwise pass by. Yours turned out quite nicely. I create daily but I'm not sure I have the ability to post daily HAHA! Good luck to you all though.
ReplyDeleteYou can post them once a week if you'd like, as long as you get them in by Sunday night!
DeleteSo glad to know...if it's okay I'll probably end up posting my link every few days...I'm trying to post each thing on my new blog so they will be date stamped.
ReplyDeleteThat's completely fine! I know several people are going to do that.
DeleteTonight I worked more on day 2's. https://flic.kr/p/nRh9xm
ReplyDeleteI generally post at least once a week on my blog, but I think I'm going to try to post daily for this month. The funny thing is that I have posted the last 2 days and I had time/energy to do some art today, too. I'm so glad you found my blog and liked it and now I'm here!
ReplyDeleteI am so tired, lol. And I still have 2 hours or more before I am done. But here is today's post.

I like the blue in your tile. I think you have a great challenge here, I do create almost every day, but I will not participate because I go to my daughter in Switzerland for almost a week.
ReplyDeleteLovely zentangle! What a fab challenge!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a few days late but I'd like to play too! I started a Pinterest board for the challenge. Let me know if it doesn't work - I can do flikr instead. Looking forward to the challenge :)
ReplyDeleteThese bugles are dedicated to a grand cause, and are marching to their destiny. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for using my tangle, Bugles. I like where you placed the highlight and how it goes into one corner.
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm entering this late but if I got you right I have until saturday to enter the first week. If not, never mind just erase me ... well the post/link thing whateverit is, not Me :D
ReplyDeleteYou're right you have until tonight actually (Sunday the 8th)
DeleteRainbow Bright is the name of this one. Lots and lots and lots of tiny little circles. Whew. hahahaha
