Only sort of a real post

I spent the morning creating a prompt for an art journal group I belong to. I haven't posted it yet so I'm not going to share it today, but that was my creative thing today.
I wasn't scheduled to do it until June, I'm filling in for someone that had something come up so it's not exactly the way I want it to be but it's ok.

I love this group I'm in. It's really filled with an amazing community of people and I'm learning so much. It's out of my comfort zone so it's pushing me a bit. I like that.
I encourage you to find a group like that for yourself if you don't already have one.

Putting together this prompt on the fly this way (thankfully I already had planned what I wanted to do) was a little beyond my comfort zone, much like everything I'm doing in my group. :)

  1. That is so true! Eleanor Roosevelt had it spot on when she said "Do one thing every day that scares you."

  2. I have my weekly post today. And I'm working on taking about 30 more mandala template ideas from my sketchbook and posting them in the next few weeks.

  3. I'm submitting a drawing I did for my little boy. He would watch me tangle and ask me to make him something. I asked what he would want and he said Robin from the Teen Titans.
I'm not a drawer, but I decided to challenge myself and figured if it didn't work out, I could always print and trace lol
This Robin was hand sketched, I'm so proud of it lol
Now if only my marker coloring skills were better!
