I did not get as much creating done as I'd like, but I have gotten some done, just no time for sitting down and putting them up. So, I'll have a couple of posts with a few different projects and then I should be right back on track. ( I hope)
So to start, here are the two Diva Challenges I've missed 165 and 166. You can find out all about the Diva's weekly challenge here on her blog.
I really liked both of these, they were both UMT's and the first one was to use Camelia which you can find here on Anne Mark's blog. Very nice tangle!Mine isn't quite right, but it was the first time I'd tried it.
I love how it turned out, some pieces call for completely different shading and this was one.
Anywhere here is what I came up with for that one. I struggled with my string, so I just gave my sketchbook to my incredibly talented daughter and asked her to draw me a string. I think I might do that more often!
So I'll get some more uploaded tomorrow, for tonight, I think I'm going to find some music, pull out my pencils and see what I can come up with!
Wonderful compositions, both of them. I'm particularly in awe of the top one. How did you ever have the patience to do all those lines? Very nice.
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you both! The lines on the top were actually really soothing to do...
ReplyDeleteVery nice; like them both!
ReplyDeleteBoth are lovely, but the 2nd one is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteBoth are wonderful! I can´t decide for a favorite! Very nicely done!
ReplyDeleteThese are really pretty tiles. My favourite is the first one. That's special and I like the string.
ReplyDeleteHi both are fab but where is the bee ?
ReplyDeleteNice tangles!
ReplyDeleteThese are both so well done. I love the "Camelia" pillow with the ties leading out from the angles.Never saw straight lines looking so arty! On Laura's new tangle, I love the feeling of being nestled in with the mooka looking like healthy roots.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tiles! I do like the first one especially, with Camelia taking centre stage so bravely and elegantly. Great work....hope this week is better! Axxx
